What's in My Closet (Custo Barcelona)

As you my know I really love Custo Barcelona but the prices are out of my comfort zone or reality. I am lucky that someone who sells at my favorite consignment shop also shares my love and then passes it on to the next girl Me! I got this fabulous top for around $13 I can't quite remember. So I tried a few bottoms with this top and for what I have the red jeans work best. I was afraid I might look like Howard from the Big Bang Theory but I think it is cute and probably not too loud. I am most comfortable wearing all black but when I started my blog I broke out of my comfort zone to have some fun.

I had to add an old mark. tank under this top because it is so low cut, it would leave nothing to the imagination. I have had this tank top a few years but it was a perfect match!

What do you think?

Top: Custo Barcelona
Tank: mark.
Pants: Old Navy

What's in My Closet (Prabal Gurung)

I had another successful trip to my favorite consignment shop. When Target had the Prabal Gurung line I wanted to get something but never did. I was looking at dresses which I normally don't do and found this dress with the tags still on! It was originally $39.99 but I got it for $19! I love the length of the dress it is just right for me. I don't want to look dowdy but I am not a mini skirt gal.

Dress: Prabal Gurung for Target
Shoes: Top Shop
Bag: Stratosphere in one of the Tower shops in Las Vegas

Earrings: Betsey Johnson

Scenery to Photograph (Lucerne Valley)

Last weekend I did makeup for a music video for LVictoria which will be out later this year. It will be a really amazing video I can tell you that. While we were on location I was able to take some beautiful shots of the clouds rolling in to the desert. It went from being super hot to very cold within an hour of time. The desert is pretty amazing like that.

When the video goes live I will put it on my blog. I was an extra in the video which was totally fun too. If you want to see other behind the scenes photos you can check out my FB page.

Here is one behind the scenes of me.

What's in My Closet (An Old Piece of Jewelry)

I'm not one to collect or be very sentimental about material things. I buy things I get rid of them and my sentiments are in my head or stories I tell. I did hang onto this cap gun necklace charm I got from an old friend when I was 17. I was obsessed with Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungeon and he bought it for me because he was too. This makes me think I should have kept all my other stuff, Tees from gigs, my old records and the clothes. Well I didn't so it doesn't matter. I thought it would be fun to do a blog post styling around the necklace with a little hint of Nancy Spungeon as inspiration.

Shirt: consignment shop no tag
Pants: NY & Co.
Shoes: Top Shop
Necklace: I would need a time machine to find out the name of the store. (South Coast Plaza Mall, CA circa 1986)
